Soloist Rod Burton, of Homewood, Illinois recently celebrated two exciting events.
Rod debuted his latest project entitled “Walking In The Light” and dedicated to the Lord his newest edition to the Burton family, his daughter Kaity.
Rod enjoyed this special night with friends, The Jay Stone Singers, who were also featured on his latest project.Bobby and Sharona Carter of the Jay Stone Singers are the Godparents for Kaity.

The Eddie Crook Company has made the announcement that the second annual Eddie Awards will be moved to Nashville, Tennessee
. The decision was made so that the event will be more accessible to the nominees and fans that will be attending the event.
The awards will recognize outstanding achievement for artists, ministries and writers associated with the ECC as well as for support personnel and suppliers to the Company.
Nominations will be announced in more than a dozen traditional categories including single of the year, album of the year, artist of the year and songwriter of the year.All of these awards will be voted upon by the ECC artists themselves as presented by the company leadership.

ECC’s Scott Godsey and Ashleih Hoover will be united in marriage on Saturday, August 9th at the Christ’s CommunityChurch located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Scott is also the tenor singer for the ever popular group, The Northmen, based in Fort Wayne.
The newlyweds will honeymoon in Mexico and make their home in Nashville, Tennessee.
A little over a year ago, a dear pastor friend of the Jay Stone Singers, along with people who have supported their ministry, began an effort to help purchase a new and more dependable mode of transportation for the group.
God blessed the efforts of these people and on Sunday night, August 17th at Mount Carmel Pentecostal Holiness Church located in Fayetteville, NC there will be a special celebration concert and dedication service of the new coach.
For 32 years the Jay Stone Singers have been sharing the wonderful story of God’s love through song and testimony. Now be looking for them in their new bus.

The Gabbards, from Butler, Kentucky, will celebrate Homecoming 2008 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 7, 8 & 9, at the Griffin Centre Amphitheater located in Falmouth, Kentucky.
Thursday night’s line up will include Mike & Kelly Bowling. Friday night’s line up will feature Gold City and the Jay Stone Singers. Saturday night fans will enjoy the Kingsmen. The Gabbards will sing nightly.
